Interpretation is the oral transmission of a spoken text from a source language to a target language.
Let us solve your communication needs. We procure experienced and competent interpreters for you.
We gladly provide interpreting services for your business in the German/English/Arabic language combinations.
Are there different interpreting types that you need?
In consecutive interpreting, each completed speech with duration from a few seconds to several minutes will be interpreted in retrospect.
The interpreter takes notes during the speech and then renders it analogously and without gaps.
Consecutive interpreting is suitable for small bilingual conferences with a manageable number of listeners.
Diplomatic, economic (business) and political negotiations and discussions are counted among the most important areas where a consecutive interpreter is used.
Consecutive interpreting is also used by the police and the courts in hearings, trials and the like.
In liaison interpreting and dialogue interpreting, the interpreter is present in the midst of the dialogue partners and takes charge of both language directions.
So the liaison interpreter enables an understanding between the dialogue partners.
In escort interpreting, the interpreter helps the customers in their language orientation in a foreign language environment, e.g. in the restaurant, shops, hospital, exhibitions, fairs, etc…
In the case of simultaneous interpretation, the interpreter translates while listening. He is usually supported by technical means, such as an isolated cabin with visual contact to the speakers or wireless tour guide systems for guided tours at trade shows.
Not only tours of industrial facilities, business meetings, contract negotiations and training courses, but also international conferences, congresses and trade fairs require professional interpreting services in order to facilitate the smooth exchange of information between participants.
Whether negotiation, consecutive or court interpreting – the graduate interpreters of ATC have many years of experience in interpreting and a high level of language and professional skills.
For an interpreting assignment, it is necessary for the interpreter to be well prepared. It is important, for example, to note the technical vocabulary and proper names in advance so that the interpreter can start to make preparations before starting work. For complex issues or negotiations, the interpreter adopts the necessary background knowledge. If requested, the interpreter can also visit the location or plan the proceedings together with the organizer.
Through the use of professional interpreting systems, interpreting assignments can be organized more effectively today, provided that all of the participants are familiar with the technology and a few important basic conditions are fulfilled.
